Abstract:In order to promote the breeding of new varieties of sweet cherry, the distribution frequency and variation coefficient of 10 external quality and 6 internal quality indexes of 35 sweet cherry varieties (strains) were evaluated and studied by correlation analysis, principal component analysis and cluster analysis. The results showed that the Simpson index of fruit shape, shape of fruit suture and shape of fruit top were 0.700, 0.561 and 0.573, respectively. Among the 13 numerical traits, the coefficient of variation of abnormal fruit rate was the largest (95.00%), and the coefficient of variation of edible rate was the smallest (3.35%). Single fruit weight was positively correlated with fresh core weight and edible rate, solid acid ratio was positively correlated with pH and negatively correlated with titratable acid. The cluster analysis divided sweet cherry varieties (strains) into 4 groups according to fruit quality characters, which was suitable for targeted screening of varieties (strains) with some excellent characters. Based on the above analysis results, the comprehensive characters of 'Regina', 'SJ-54' and 'Royal Lee' have outstanding advantages, and can be used as excellent parents for sweet cherry breeding.
