疣粒野生稻是我国仅有的三种野生稻之一。与普通野生稻和药用野生稻相比,我国疣粒野生稻种质资源的稀缺性和濒危性更为突出,在水稻育种中的应用以及基础研究都相对滞后。自2021年以来,依托国家重点研发计划“主要粮油作物珍稀濒危种质资源的抢救性保护”,主要粮油作物珍稀濒危种质资源的抢救性保护项目组系统开展了我国疣粒野生稻种质资源的调查、收集与保护,查清了我国疣粒野生稻种质资源的分布信息与濒危状况,收集了海南、云南两省57个居群的631份疣粒野生稻种质资源,并系统研发了种质圃保存、分生组织扩繁与保存、模拟原生境保存技术等,安全保存了收集的资源。对濒危程度严重的4个居群建立了原生境保护点,形成了疣粒野生稻异生境与原生境相结合的保护体系,有效地保护了其遗传多样性与遗传稳定性。研究结果为后续抢救性保护和利用疣粒野生稻种质资源提供了重要支撑。
Oryza granulata is one of China′s three wild rice germplasm resources. Compared with Oryza rufipogon and Oryza officinalis, it exhibits more distinct scarcity and endangerment status, with relatively limited applications in rice breeding and fundamental research. Since 2021, supported by the National Key Research and Development Program of China "Rescue Conservation of Rare and Endangered Germplasm Resources of Major Grain and Oil Crops", this study has systematically carried out investigation, collection and protection of O. granulata germplasm resources in China. We have clarified its distribution patterns and endangered status, collected 631 accessions from 57 populations in Hainan and Yunnan provinces, and developed integrated preservation techniques including germplasm nursery conservation, meristem propagation and preservation, and simulated in situ conservation, thereby achieving secure preservation of the collected resources. Additionally, four new in situ conservation sites were established. Consequently, an integrated conservation system combining ex situ and in situ approaches has been established for O. granulata, which preserves its genetic diversity and stability. Our study provided crucial support for the subsequent rescue conservation and utilization of O. granulata germplasm resources.
