    Abstract:

    The upland rice variety IRAT359 has no fine hair in leaf and grain husk. It has higher tillering a-bility and drought resistance, and higher grain yield and grain quality. It can be cultivated in Yunnan, Guizhou, Sichuan and Guangxi provinces with irrigation condition, as well as Yangzhi river area with more amount of rainfall.
