    Abstract:

    Molecular marker assisted selection was regarded as a useful tool for breeding for drought resistance in crops. Recent advance on study of molecular markers of drought resistance in main crops such as wheat, maize, rice and soybean, was reviewed in this paper. A strategy for marker assisted selection of drought resistance in crops was also dicussed.
