To screen out tobacco germplasm resistant to tobacco mosaic virus for breeding, 471 of tobacco germplasm resources were evaluated in 2001-2003. Disease resistant varieties and susceptible varieties of these gerplasms resources were classified. Sixty seven resistance germplasm and 183 media resistance germplasm were screened out. The comprehensive evaluation was carried out among good resistance germplasm in 2003.
