Abstract: This paper reviewed the developmental history of Chinese fruit germplasm resources, summarized the achievements for the past three decades in China, indicated some principal problems existed in developing Chinese fruit germplasm resources, and proposed some suggestions for further carrying out the basic works on germplasm resources.
