Abstract: ‘Zaosu’ was bred from the hybrid of ‘Pingguoli’ × ‘Shenbuzhi’, by Research Institute of Pomology, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. It is an early ripening and early bearing germplasm with excellent quality and strong adaptability. ‘Zaosu’ was extensively planted in many areas and has created great economic benefits in production. This review summarizes the production value, breeding value and genetic characteristics of ‘Zaosu’, and the purpose is to provide reference for popularization and application of this germplasm.
